Welcome our 2022 Visiting Fellow Kelvin Ansong!

We are delighted to welcome 2022 Visiting Fellow Kelvin Ansong to the residency and community. Fun Fact We first met Kelvin in November 2021, when he arrived with the group ARTIVITY, which was a group of emerging artists exploring many of Accra’s creative spaces.

Kelvin follows his colleagues Emmanuel Taku and Foster Sakyiamah as a Ghanatta College of Art and Design alumni. He creates a kaleidoscope and cubism effect through distinct shapes and curves to colorful narratives. Kelvin believes that visualizing emotions is another way to understand the complexities of human nature, which led to the development of kaleidoscopism a term that he created through his primary artistic medium.

Kelvin, welcome!!
