Welcome our 2022 Artist-In-Residence Mobolaji Ogunrosoye!

We are excited to welcome our second Artist-In-Residence for 2022 all the way from Lagos! We would like to introduce you to Mobolaji Ogunrosoye [b.1991]. Bolaji is an emerging Nigerian contemporary artist. She investigates archival material containing images to document physicality and emotion through photography and collage techniques.

Her work has evolved from a deeply self-conscious to a liberated and humorous expression of female autonomy. She investigates how distortion and fragmentation can be used as collage elements to change the viewers’ perception of the images she presents.

Bolaji’s research into the intersection of expression and embodiment will continue as she prepares for her preview showing with us in December 2022!

Welcome to the Noldor family Bolaji!!
