Welcome Festus to Noldor Residency!

We are excited to welcome our 2022 Visiting Fellow Festus Kehinde Alagbe (@festus_alagbe) to Ghana!!

Festus is a Nigerian artist who describes himself as a contemporary African surrealist, paying homage to a quintessential surrealist Yves Tanguy and Salvador Dali in my work. He explores surrealism within his own vocabulary from an authentically African perspective, to create a way to pass the message of hope, peace, and love and to promote cultural heritage, value, and pride of the African societies.

We can’t wait to see how his visual language grows within his tenure at the residency!
