'Think Pink, Go West' - the monograph is here!

The Institute Museum of Ghana is proud to announce its maiden monograph publication! Our first-ever making this moment quite special.

‘Think Pink, Go West’ – the monograph details the artistic journey so far of Nigerian artist, Samuel Olayombo, from his documented tenure as a Visiting Fellow at Noldor Artist Residency upon arrival from Lagos to his debut museum solo with the Institute Museum of Ghana.

Special thanks to curator, Fabiola Ondzounga who aptly captured the thoughts and essence of Olayombo’s work in his stunning solo exhibition, ‘Think, Pink, Go West’ at the Museum.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to director of ADA\ Contemporary – Adora Mba for writing such a beautifully dedicated foreword to this book. Samuel’s career-debut solo was as at ADA, making the Ghanaian-Nigerian gallerist the perfect one to speak to Olayombo’s work.

It brings us great joy to see it all come together and on behalf of our Director, Joseph Awuah-Darko, we hope you enjoy engaging with the monograph as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
