The George D. Widener Director and CEO of the Philadelphia Museum of Art visits Noldor

It was an honour to host the Director and CEO of the Philadelphia Museum, Sasha Suda and her team at Noldor.

Their visit highlighted the Museum’s commitment to the preservation of African art as evidenced by the establishment of The Brind Center for African and African Diasporic Art which will be dedicated to the study, acquisition, and care of art from continental Africa and the African Diaspora.

Discussions centered on Noldor’s contributions to the thriving African art scene, as well as potential partnerships and cultural exchange programs between the two institutions.

In all, their visit showcased the power of cultural exchange in fostering understanding and laid the groundwork for enduring partnerships that transcend geographical boundaries in the realm of artistic collaboration.
