We would like to honor our guests who attended the opening reception of “Bed of Roses” by our 2022 Visiting Fellow Joseph Awuah-Darko, and a special acknowledgement to the students from Stanford University and their Professor and well-known author Ato Quayson!!

It was wonderful to begin the show with a special guided tour for the students, with Joseph speaking to them about the show’s sources of inspiration and his visual practice. We’d like to thank everyone who came through the “Bed of Roses” last Thursday and celebrated the rebirth of Joseph’s art practice, as well as everyone who offered support! The exhibition is still on display at the Mix until September 10th!
