Programme outline for 2020 Noldor Residency

The novelty of the residency is that it consists of a program outline that focuses on both artistic and personal growth. The artist, while in residence, will receive five (5) hours of therapy from an in-house clinical psychologist, Vanessa Baaba Dadzie, and will involve elements of art therapy. This unique approach and emphasis on the importance of mental wellness and emotional health are cutting-edge given the deep, prevalent stigmatization surrounding mental health experiences in Africa, and Ghana more specifically.

Though outlines exist, each four-week experience will be tailored to each artist every year at the residency.
