Noldor Fellows and Alumni showcase in 'Sound of Our Soul'
We are excited to announce that Noldor Junior Fellow, Ishmael Armah, alongside esteemed Noldor Alumni—Samuel Olayombo, Youssra Rouchi, and Boluwatife Oyediran are currently showcasing their artwork in the collective exhibition titled ‘The Sound of Our Souls’ at the UTA Artist Space in Los Angeles, USA.
Curated by Adora Mba, Founder and Director of ADA Contemporary Art Gallery in Accra, Ghana, this exhibition aligns with the commitment of UTA Artist Space to offer a platform for transformative gallerists who lack a physical presence in Los Angeles.
Scheduled to run from November 17 to December 9, 2023, “The Sound of Our Souls” will showcase the works of 15 emerging artists from the African continent, marking their debut in California. Against the backdrop of increasing global interest in these creative talents, the exhibition aims to amplify their unique voices and narratives.
Additionally featured in the exhibition are artists Ayobola Kekere-Ekun, Barry Yusufu, Boluwatife Oyediran, Deborah Segun, Eniwaye Oluwaseyi, Ekene Emeka-Maduka, Abdur Rahman Muhammad, Gabriel Tendai Choto, Isaac Nana Opoku, Khia Poitier, Ousmane Bâ, and Zandile Tshabalala.
