Institute Museum of Ghana in The Art Newspaper

As a newly established contemporary art museum – we are elated for this recognition by The Art Newspaper for this moment in history!

The Institute Museum of Ghana will be open to the public in March of 2022 as Ghana’s first contemporary art museum. Debuting its premiere museum exhibition by Mimi Adu-Serwaah a Noldor Fellow incumbent who recently represented Ghana at the Biennale of Luanda.

With the architectural input and support of Sir David Adjaye, who sits on the advisory board, the former pharmaceutical factory will continue to be built towards full museum capacity in stages – even after its public debut.

Very exciting times lay ahead for Ghana’s soft power on a global scale.
