Director Joseph Awuah-Darko featured on BBC Scotland!

It was an honour to have our Director Joseph Awuah-Darko who was part of the round table discussion on BBC’s ‘Good Morning Scotland’ – alongside artist Zandile Tschabalala and Artsy CMO, Everette Taylor.

Joseph discussed the important role inclusive galleries play within our ecosystem beyond the institution and expressed and discussed his excitement for 2021 Artist in Residence Foster Sakyiamah’s upcoming solo with ADA \ Contemporary Art Gallery, which will be his first in Ghana despite international acclaim.

Also he spoke about how women artists such as our 2021 Artist in Residence Bolatito Aderemi-Ibitola is challenging the status quo in presenting work in video and augmented reality format.
