Dela Anyah presents 'Elementary Rebirth' at Nubuke Foundation

Noldor alumnus, Dela Anyah proudly presents ‘Elementary Rebirth’ – a solo exhibition at Nubuke Foundation, Accra (Ghana).

The exhibition curated by our director, Joseph Awuah-Darko is a further probe into perceptions and misconceptions of what is beautiful and a query of one’s purpose.

Anyah continues to utilise up-cycled degraded rubber tires in creating his magnificent pieces – a poetic representation of the saying “there’s more to see than meets the eye.” This body of work highlights the artist’s ethnographic research and concept of materiality. The critical discourse within his practice thematically reference environmental degradation, consumerism and perceived obsolescence within his stunning visual vocabulary.

The exhibition will run till June 3, 2023.
