SenaBurgundy Appau [b. 1997] is an emerging contemporary and digital artist based in Accra, Ghana. He primarily works as a painter and also incorporates screen printing in his work.
He showed an interest and passion for the arts at an early age and has always seen art as a means of expressing himself. He seeks to create work that excites and drives moods and sensations while serving as a visual banquet, mostly through his portraits and animations.
He is self-taught and enjoys experimenting with other styles and mediums to help evolve his art. He finds inspiration from Ghanaian artists Kwesi Botchway, Bright Ackwerh He is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Noldor Residency for the 2021 year.
