Kwadwo Peprah presents ‘Nhwiren Fɛfɛ, Nhwiren A Eewu’ at the Noldor Residency

Our second Artist-In-Residence this year, Kwadwo Peprah presents ‘Nhwiren Fɛfɛ, Nhwiren A Ɛwu’ – a solo exhibition curated by Head Curator, Sally Polley.

The exhibition, which opened to the public on Friday, 22nd December 2023 showcases a dynamic body of work culminating from his dedicated research and artistic progress during his residency at Noldor.

Peprah’s work explores the complex relationship between love, mortality, and the ephemerality of beauty through the lens of African masks and flowers. He creates a stark contrast between their fleeting existence and the enduring cultural essence embodied by the masks.

The exhibition will run till February 24, 2024.
