Mobolaji Ogunrosoye and Ousmane Ba to exhibit with 1-54 Art Fair, New York

We are excited to announce the upcoming exhibition of Noldor alumna, Mobolaji Ogunrosoye and Noldor Fellow, Ousmane Ba with 1-54 Art Fair in New York.

The exhibition will run from May 18 to May 31, 2023.

This year’s fair features a total of 26 galleries from across Africa, Europe and the United States – presenting the work of over 80 artists from Africa and its diaspora.

Ogunrosoye will be represented by Ko Art Space (Lagos, Nigeria) and Ba by Gallery Amiss Dakar (Dakar, Senegal).

Mobolaji Ogunrosoye uses collage and photography to explore selfhood, body image and the impact of societal influences on the personal identity of women.

Meanwhile, Ousmane Ba considers himself a rebel, dancing between painting and digital drawing, on a mission to construct a tangible representation of a paradise promised – inner peace.
