World-renowned Ghanaian artist, El Anatsui visits Noldor

We had the utmost privilege to give the artistic luminary and Ghanaian legend, El Anatsui, a tour of Noldor. During this first visit, he was accompanied by Valentina Mintah, one of the founders of Erie Gallery, Dubai and Bronwyn Katz, an amazing South African-based sculptor.

It was a joy to see Anatsui experience and even interact with various artistic disciplines he came across all with unique enthusiasm, especially our current exhibitions by Mobolaji Ogunrosoye and Dela Anyah.

Given his extensive career spanning decades, it was also amazing to get his thoughts on institutional thinking and his sentiments surrounding artist-led spaces dedicated to nurturing emerging potential.

With all the recognition (local and international) that our program has garnered over the years, his visit definitely marks a highlight for Noldor as we continue to welcome a spectrum of deeply supportive visitors who share our vision.
