Foster Sakyiamah and Samuel Olayombo collaborate with KITH for Black History Month

Congratulations to our 2021 Artist-in-Residence, Foster Sakyiamah and our 2022 Visiting Fellow, Samuel Olayombo on their collaboration with New York-based fashion brand, Kith, in honour of Black History Month 2023!

Both artists together with New York-based artist, Madjeen Isaac, were selected as part of Kith’s Artist Series, 2023. Samuel’s ‘Fatherhood, 2022’ and Foster’s ‘Yellow Sunday School, 2022’ will be featured in Kith’s capsule collection. The selection of both Noldor Fellows makes it the first time Kith is collaborating with international artists.

The capsule collection features their artwork printed on a range of tees, crewnecks and paper bags. Each artist will receive 50% of the proceeds from their designs and also have their works featured in a special exhibition taking place at Kith SoHo flagship alongside the launch on February 1, 2023. This exhibition will travel to Kith Paris flagship at a later date in February.

The capsule collection is available at Kith Paris & EU. Kith.com and in Kith’s US shops on Kith.com
