The Institute Museum of Ghana welcomes students from Abroad!

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” – Picasso

What a week it’s been for us; we’ve welcomed so many different groups of students this week! We’d like to thank all of the students who have wowed us with their creative perspectives. It was wonderful for our team and artists to meet students from all over the United States, from Chicago to Los Angeles participating in SIT Study Abroad and The Academy Group.

We are grateful to all the organization and individuals such as Untamed Empire, Ghana Artists Club, Dikan Center, Mike Boakye, Quentin Harris, Uduimoh Umolu, Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper for providing great opportunities for students to not only explore Ghana but also be involved in the exciting art movement that is currently taking place. We were overjoyed to hear that the artists and their works had inspired the students. We can’t wait to see how this trip will impact their lives.
