We are thrilled to announce our 2022 Mentorship Series, which featured Emmanuel Taku, our inaugural 2020 Artist in Residence. It was wonderful to see so many of our artists, both on and off site, come together to welcome Taku!

Taku shared his journey as an artist, from his studies at Ghanatta College of Art and Design, to the Noldor Residency, and now seeing his works in the global art scene. The artists had the opportunity to ask Taku questions about his visual language and how to develop their own visual language. The workshop continued in part two with a discussion with our Chief Curator Rita Mawuena Benissan and our in-house photographer Michael Dakwa on how artists can brand themselves through visual context and content.
